Item A Comparative Analysis of Exports of Services in the EU Countries and Ukraine(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Малярець, Людмила Михайлівна; Норік, Лариса Олексіївна; Денисюк, Ольга Василівна; Скляр, Тетяна ПетрівнаThe growing role of services in the economy of modern countries requires a detailed analysis of their exports as one of the key factors in the development of national economies. Especially relevant is the study of exports of services in the context of globalization and increased competition in international markets. The EU is one of Ukraine’s key trading partners, so a comparative analysis of services exports helps to determine how effectively Ukraine adapts to European standards and which sectors of the economy have the greatest potential for growth. The aim of the article is to compare the level of development of exports of services of the EU countries and Ukraine and identify the key factors contributing to its growth. The article analyzes the export of key services of both the EU countries and Ukraine using a taxonomic approach. Taxonomic indicators for the classification of countries by the level of development of exports of services have been calculated, which allowed to allocate three main groups of countries. The place of Ukraine among the EU countries is determined and the key factors influencing its position in this sphere are identified. On the basis of the results obtained, recommendations for strengthening Ukraine’s position in the international market of exports of services are formulated. Further direction of development of the study is envisaged in an in-depth analysis of specific service sectors that have the greatest potential for export in Ukraine, such as IT, financial services and outsourcing, as well as a comparative analysis of the policies of countries with an average level of exports of services and the determination of which practices can be adapted for Ukraine for further integration of Ukraine into European and global services markets.Item Analyzing the Tendencies in Meeting the Country’s Needs for Motor Fuel(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2023) Хаустова, Вікторія Євгенівна; Кизим, Микола Олександрович; Костенко, Дмитро Миколайович; Шпілєвський, Володимир ВікторовичThe aim of the article is to analyze the oil and petroleum products markets in Ukraine and tendencies in meeting the country’s needs for motor fuel. To achieve this aim, an analysis of the state of the oil and gas condensate market in Ukraine was carried out; the dynamics of oil and gas condensate consumption in Ukraine is studied; the main consumers and producers of motor fuel in Ukraine are identified; the dynamics of oil and gas condensate refining volumes is analyzed. The article also examines the dynamics of exports and imports of oil and gas condensate in Ukraine. The demand for crude oil and gas condensate in Ukraine is analyzed and it is determined that the dependence of domestic producers of light oil products on imported oil supplies significantly affects the oil market of Ukraine. The tendencies of oil and gas condensate production in Ukraine have been studied and their steady decline in recent years has been noted. The results of the study of the current state and trends in the development of the oil products market in Ukraine are presented. The dynamics of consumption and production, as well as the features of demand for motor fuel both in general and for its types in particular – motor gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied natural gas (LNG) – are analyzed. The geographical structure of motor fuel imports by its individual types is analyzed. Their main importers in the Ukraine have been identified. The balance of the market for the main types of motor fuel has been studied.Item Areas of Training of Young Specialists Through Professional Development of Academic Staff in the Field of Education(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2023) Юринець, Зорина Володимирівна; Сновидович, Ірина Григорівна; Денисенко, Микола Павлович; Панченко, Володимир АнатолійовичThe purpose of the article is to study the direction of training young specialists through the professional development of academic staff in the field of education. The areas that require regular research, updating and professional development from specialists based on the analysis of the areas of work of teachers of higher education institutions were identified. The main key competencies for lifelong learning have been identified. The training courses offered to teachers and academic staff at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv were presented. Skills are proposed for mastering as the main learning outcome for the academic staff of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The training courses and programs offered by SoftServe have been identified by the monitoring of opportunities for practical training of teachers. For higher education institutions, professional development for academic staff is a mandatory element of the education quality assurance system and can take place through participation in master classes, seminars, trainings, webinars, and workshops. It has been established that academic staff, given the workload and challenges they face in terms of professional development and maintaining mental and emotional health, should receive professional help and support. Professional supervision can be helpful, which can help both individually and within the university. We believe that for academic staff to perform their tasks effectively, higher education institutions should provide them with quality material and technical support, and opportunities for continuous learning and development. A well-designed educational program will be the key to success for its developers, higher education institutions, students, and employers. It is necessary to create an environment of periodic discussion with employers of existing educational programs and their main components, which will allow timely making of important adjustments in response to important problems and topical issues. The principles by which the educational program is developed have been identified. The criteria for self-assessment and accreditation of educational programs have been formed.Item Assessing Competitive Advantages and Challenges of the Ukrainian Tech Ecosystem during Wartime(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Лук'яненко, Ірина Григорівна; Сова, Євгеній СтаніславовичThe aim of the article is to identify the competitive advantages and key obstacles hindering the development of the technology sector in Ukraine during the period of martial law, as well as to develop potential scenarios for further development of the innovation ecosystem of Ukraine and appropriate strategies for implementation in each of the scenarios. An additional area of analysis is to test the hypothesis about the key role of investment in stimulating innovation. The study used general statistical and economic approaches, in particular, visual, scenario and correlation analysis. Within the framework of the study, it was demonstrated that the competitive advantages of the innovation ecosystem of Ukraine are a strong research and educational base, a high level of professionalism and technical skills of IT specialists, creativity and a number of innovative technological products. Among the main problems hindering its development are the level of stability of the institutional and regulatory environment, limited access to financial resources and lack of investment. It also confirmed the hypothesis that there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of investment in research and development (R&D) and the number of patents registered. The results of the study can be used to develop appropriate approaches to strategic analysis, in particular in terms of developing scenarios for the development of Ukrainian startups in the face of unprecedented risks, such as the period of martial law. Prospects for further research on this topic are a detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis of the impact of the implementation of programs for financing and stimulating investment in Ukrainian startups on the indicators of innovative development of the technological ecosystem of Ukraine. A separate research task is to develop a road-map for effective institutional changes necessary to ensure a favorable regulatory and business environment for Ukrainian startups based on international experience.Item Assessing the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and Their Impact on the Value of Enterprises in Food Industry(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2023) Краснокутська, Наталія Станіславівна; Гао, ЛянУ статті наведено послідовність і результати оцінки впровадження концепції сталого розвитку у практику діяльності підприємств у контексті формування їх цінності. Запропоновано науково-методичний підхід до оцінювання реалізації Цілей сталого розвитку, який передбачає розрахунок інтегрального показника імплементації Цілей сталого розвитку у діяльність підприємств, сформованого з урахуванням індикаторів організаційного забезпечення, системності впровадження та комплексності результатів програм і проєктів соціально-відповідального спрямування. Обґрунтовано науково-методичний підхід до визначення цінності підприємства, основу якого становить оцінювання економічної та неекономічної її складових з використанням методу нечітких множин. Дослідження проведено за даними компаній, що функціонують у галузі виробництва продуктів харчування. Показано, що підприємства пов'язують довгостроковий розвиток із впровадженням у практику діяльності принципів соціальної відповідальності та сталого розвитку. Установлено, що проєкти соціально-відповідального спрямування досліджених підприємств пов’язані переважно з реалізацією Цілей сталого розвитку в галузі екології та відповідального споживання. Показано, що глобальні компанії ведуть більш системну та комплексну діяльність з імплементації засад сталого розвитку, порівняно з компаніями національного рівня, забезпечуючи тим самим більш високу цінність. Здійснено оцінювання економічної та неекономічної цінностей досліджених підприємств. Для визначення залежності між рівнем імплементації цілей сталого розвитку та характеристиками цінності підприємств застосовано метод кореляційного аналізу. Під час проведення кореляційного аналізу факторною ознакою узято коефіцієнт імплементації Цілей сталого розвитку у практику діяльності, результатною – коефіцієнти реалізації неекономічної та економічної цінностей підприємства. Зазначено, що інтеграція принципів сталого розвитку в практику діяльності забезпечує зростання цінності підприємства. Вказано, що підприємства, які системно впроваджують соціально-відповідальні практики, мають більш високі показники цінності.Item Blockchain Characteristics and Implications: Assessing the Impact on Sustainability in Turkish Sectors(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2023) Краснокутська, Наталія Станіславівна; Адигузель, КорайTechnological advances are accelerating the activation of the saving, preserving and using information in various economic models. Blockchain technology is one of the latest technologies used by many international institutions and organizations. Compared to other banking or technological technologies, it transmits and accumulates information transparently, instantly, and reliably at a low cost. As Turkey plays a significant economic role in the Middle East and Europe regions, this article highlights a sample of Turkish companies that use blockchain technology of the version 4.0. It is an attempt to measure the variables of the coefficient of trust, immutability, transparency, and cost reduction in combination with blockchain applications by scientists, administrative authors, and blockchain technologists. A quantitative descriptive approach has been adopted to examine the interrelation between blockchain applications and increase in transparency, confidence, stability, and cost reduction, based on the SPSS statistical software to produce accurate results. 19 Turkish companies were selected from 62 Turkish companies that have adopted blockchain, according to the official agency «BTCR» that tracks these organizations in Turkey. The selected companies, operating in banking, telecommunications, industry, and non-governmental associations, make large contributions to Turkey’s GDP. The study found that all four variables in the sectors improved significantly after the introduction of blockchain technology, but the systems for monitoring and tracking their influence were complex ones.Item Construction Economics and Peculiarities of Administration of Projects for Construction of Civil Protection Structures(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Петруха, Ніна Миколаївна; Петруха, Сергій Валерійович; Тюрменко, Ярослав Миколайович; Кононенко, Ігор МиколайовичWithin the terms of the carried out study, it is found that the key aim of the system of administration of projects for construction of civil protection structures is to ensure a high level of coordination of the activities of all organizations involved in their development and implementation. This coordination should take into account the significant impact of such projects on strengthening national security and maintaining the economic stability of the State. It is found that modern approaches to the integration of various stakeholders, including government agencies, construction companies and design organizations, contribute to the creation of synergy in solving strategic objectives in this area. An analysis of the efficiency of the developed approach to project administration, which is based on the implementation of performance evaluation, quality control and agile management tools, is carried out. The role of the State system of technical regulation in the formation of a single regulatory framework that contributes to the harmonization of national construction standards with international requirements is also assessed. The expediency of using a multi-level system of criteria to evaluate the success of project implementation, which covers technical, economic, environmental and social aspects, is substantiated. A conceptual model of an efficient administration system has been developed, which combines the processes of strategic planning, resource management, monitoring of implementation and final evaluation of project results. It is proposed to introduce mechanisms for attracting funding from public, private and international sources, which ensures the sustainability and duration of project implementation. The proposed system of administration contributes to the maximum use of the economic and social potential of the construction of protection structures, ensuring compliance with national priorities of security and sustainable development. The results of the study create the basis for the formation of an innovative environment that contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the State, attracting investments and achieving long-term economic growth focused on strengthening the civil protection system.Item COVID-19 Crisis Management on the Example of Hospitality Industry Enterprise in Latvia(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2022) Корюгіна, Катерина; Шамшина, Тетяна; Живітере, Марг; Рященко, Вікторія; Гришова, Інна ЮріївнаУ статті визначено, шо основною проблемою, з якою сьогодні стикається вся індустрія гостинності, є пандемія COVID-19 та її наслідки. Під час пандемії багато готелів закрили свої двері, і деякі з них більше не працюватимуть. Більшість працівників індустрії гостинності втратили роботу, а прибутки впали. Наведене дослідження проводилося з метою аналізу стратегії, яку один із відомих латвійських готелів Pullman Riga Old Town реалізував у відповідь на кризу COVID-19 щодо своїх зацікавлених сторін. Дослідження спрямоване на розробку шляхів допомоги підприємству у подоланні труднощів, викликаних COVID-19, та надання пропозицій щодо подолання кризи. У статті проаналізовано кризові явища, а також концептуальні основи антикризового управління з урахуванням поточної ситуації в індустрії гостинності Латвії в контексті кризи, спричиненої COVID-19 загалом та готелю Pullman Riga Old Town. Дослідження проводилося з 1 квітня 2020 р. по 17 жовтня 2020 р. В ньому було використано методи аналізу даних, такі як: аналіз теоретичних джерел, збір та узагальнення статистичних даних, інтерв’ю з фахівцями.Item Customer Focus as a Tool for Improving Business Efficiency in the Architecture and Construction Industry(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Ященко, Олексій Федорович; Макатьора, Дмитро Анатолійович; Кубанов, Руслан Анатолійович; Зінич, Петро ЛукиновичThe study considers customer focus as a key tool for improving the efficiency of enterprise in the architecture and construction industry, which is a complex and diversified area, where the success of enterprises depends on their ability to adapt to both market requirements and the requirements put forward by customers. Customer focus in this industry is key to success, as consumers are looking for a personalized approach, quality services, and a positive communication experience. It is important to remember that a customer-focused approach in the construction business involves attention to customer requirements and establishing partnerships, which contributes to meeting customers’ needs and the successful implementation of projects. It is defined that the successful implementation of a customer-focused strategy in the business activities of enterprises in the architecture and construction area requires careful consideration of several key elements. Understanding customer needs and preferences, building a customer-focused culture, training employees to interact with customers, motivating the staff, and diagnosing the efficiency of customer-focused strategies are key to achieving success in this sphere. These elements help companies not only meet the needs of customers but also create long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with them. Taking these aspects into account helps to improve the level of service, increase customer satisfaction and increase the company’s competitiveness in the market. Therefore, it is important that businesses work carefully and systematically on these elements for the successful implementation of a customer-focused strategy. The main aspects of customer focus are considered, models and methodologies that help enterprises to interact with customers, taking into account their needs and expectations, are presented. The team of authors highlights the step-by-step process of developing customer focus, as well as the methodology of «Managing business processes of customer focus» as the key to the successful operation of enterprises in the architecture and construction industry. The SERVQUAL model for assessing the quality of services and the use of the NPS index to measure the level of customer loyalty are also considered. The conclusions state that customer focus contributes to the development of long-term relationships with customers, maintaining a loyal customer base, attracting new consumers and increasing their level of loyalty. Through the customer-focused approach, the company can effectively adapt to changes in the market, improve its services and ensure high quality of work. Adaptability, customer interaction and continuous process improvement are an essential part of the success of construction companies in today’s competitive environment. This research can help an enterprise in the field of architecture and construction to increase competitiveness, attract new customers and retain existing ones, as well as improve the quality of services and customer satisfaction.Item Demystifying Customer Perception of Electric Vehicle Adoption in South Africa Using the Technology Acceptance Model(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2023) Msosa, Steven Kayambazinthu; Мсоса, Стівен КаямбазінтуElectric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular and mainstream in today's world. One reason for this is the demand for vehicles with zero carbon footprint. Fossil fuels are extremely harmful as they endanger the planet and produce much toxic pollution. Therefore, using the Technology Acceptance Model, this study analysed customers' perceptions of electric vehicle adoption in South Africa. The Technology Acceptance Model has evolved into a critical model for understanding predictors of human behaviour towards potential technology acceptance or rejection. The first determinant is perceived usefulness, followed by perceived ease of use, cost and user attitude toward electric vehicles. Because EVs are new in the South African market, this study adapted this model to understand the customers' attitudes, perceptions, and benefits that EVs bring. The findings of this study show that most prospective customers had significantly agreed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude, and cost influence their intention to buy electric vehicles. This study's findings could benefit automobile industries, fleet purchasers, and private owners considering transitioning to low-emission vehicles. Electric vehicles will play a significant role in the future, and their adoption can help reduce dependence on fossil fuels. By understanding South African customers' perceptions, attitudes, and the barriers they face in adopting electric vehicle technology, this study could provide valuable insights to stakeholders in the automotive industry by enabling them to make informed decisions and develop strategies for promoting electric vehicle adoption.Item Determinants of Investment Decisions in Tech Firms: Evidence from GMM Analysis of Panel Data Across 23 OECD Countries(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Alexeeva-Alexeev, Inna; Алексєєва-Алексєєв, ІннаCorporate investment decision has been a recurrent topic in literature for the last decades. However, there is little studied about what internal and external factors influence this decision in the companies of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector, so important for technological development of business and economies. The objective of this empirical study is to analyze the impact generated by firm- and country-level variables on the investment decision-making by technological firms. The analysis, made with GMM of two steps of 19,613 observations obtained from 1,661 listed ICT companies in 23 OECD countries between 2003 and 2019. The data were obtained through various databases, such as S&P Capital IQ, World Bank's World Development Indicators, International Monetary Fund statistics and the OECD's Main Science and Technology Indicators (MSTI). The results of the study suggest that corporate investments of tech firms highly depend on internal and external financing. There are other interesting findings showing significant impact generated by other firm- and country-level variables both in ICT manufacturing and services subsectors.Item Development of a Scorecard and a Mathematical Model for an Aggregated Assessment of the G-component of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of the Agro-Industrial Complex within the Framework of the ESG Conception(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2025) Chikov, Illia A.; Чіков, Ілля АнатолійовичУ статті визначено, що управлінський компонент ESG-концепції є основою для реалізації екологічних і соціальних ініціатив, оскільки саме якість корпоративного управління визначає здатність підприємства адаптуватися до зовнішніх викликів, забезпечувати прозорість, залучати інвестиції та будувати довіру з боку стейкхолдерів. У МСП АПК, де ресурси та управлінські структури часто обмежені, дефіцит систематизованих підходів до оцінки G-компонента ускладнює їхню інтеграцію в глобальні ініціативи сталого розвитку, обмежує доступ до фінансування та знижує конкурентоспроможність. Саме тому розробка уніфікованої, адаптованої до галузевих особливостей системи показників і математичної моделі оцінки є актуальною науковою та практичною задачею. Метою дослідження є розробка системи показників та математичної моделі для оцінки управлінського компонента МСП АПК у рамках ESG-концепції, спрямована на підвищення їх конкурентоспроможності та відповідності Цілям сталого розвитку (ЦСР). Запропонована система показників дозволяє комплексно оцінити управлінські практики МСП АПК, виявити слабкі місця та сформувати рекомендації для покращення. Запропонована система показників інтегрує принципи ESG і ЦСР та забезпечує кількісну оцінку, що полегшує порівняння між підприємствами, сприяє прозорості звітності та підвищує привабливість для інвесторів. Математична модель агрегованої оцінки G-компонента базується на зваженій сумі оцінок 16 показників, із урахуванням їхнього внеску в досягнення ЦСР. Модель використовує коефіцієнт ЦСР, який відображає інтенсивність зв’язків між кожним показником і відповідними Цілями сталого розвитку. Ваги показників дозволяють гнучко адаптувати модель до специфіки підприємства, наприклад, надаючи більшу вагу фінансовим показникам у періоди економічної нестабільності. Чотирирівнева шкала оцінки дозволяє чітко сегментувати стан управління, надаючи практичні рекомендації для кожного рівня. Система показників і математична модель слугують основою для внутрішнього аудиту, стратегічного планування та комунікації зі стейкхолдерами, включаючи інвесторів, банки, місцеві громади тощо. Впровадження G-практик сприяє зниженню операційних і репутаційних ризиків, підвищенню довіри з боку партнерів і полегшенню доступу до ESG-орієнтованих інвестицій. На відміну від наявних підходів, які часто зосереджені на великих корпораціях або надмірно формалізовані, запропонована система показників і математична модель через інтеграцію з ЦСР забезпечує комплексний підхід до оцінки та підвищення якості корпоративного управління МСП АПК, яка поєднує локальні управлінські практики з глобальними пріоритетами сталого розвитку.Item Development of Staff of Innovative Enterprises in the Context of Digitalization(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2023) Мажник, Лідія Олександрівна; Литовченко, Ірина Володимирівна; Шевченко, Станіслав ОлександровичThe aim of the article is to study the aspects of staff development of innovative enterprises in the context of digitalization. The analysis and generalization, together with the systematization of current trends and scientific works taking place in the digital economy, made it possible to consider the global features of digitalization of the economy and the specifics of domestic trends in the context of a hybrid war and to identify important components of the staff development system that can have a significant impact on the development of staff of innovative enterprises. As a result of the study, new directions of staff development of innovative enterprises have been allocated, which can be used in practice by a proactive worker of an innovative enterprise, as well as employees of the staff management system of enterprises, scientists and other interested persons. The vectors for the development of staff of innovative enterprises in the context of expanding the capabilities of artificial intelligence and the spread of technologies, as well as in accordance with the known conceptions of the world, are determined. It is substantiated that the development of staff of an innovative enterprise will allow more active dissemination of technologies, contribute to their improvement in the process of use, provide advantages to enterprises that will be the first to apply them in practice in a new competitive field of goods and services. Further improvement and deepening of knowledge on the development of staff of innovative enterprises can contribute to the formation and improvement of its competitive advantages, as well as lead to the creation of a new categorical norm for the characteristics of staff of enterprises and organizations in the digital economy. Directions for further research on this topic are quantitative analysis of components and indices of digital development by categories: knowledge, technology and readiness for the future, also allocation of significant factors influencing the qualitative indicators of the results of the staff of innovative enterprises of Ukraine on the basis of building a model of interconnection of the key components of the staff development system of an innovative enterprise and the results of its activities.Item E-invoicing as a Tool for the Digitalization of Export-Import Activities of Economic Entities in the Public Sector of the Economy of Ukraine(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2025) Malyarets, Lyudmyla M.; Малярець, Людмила Михайлівна; Norik, Larisa O.; Норік, Лариса Олексіївна; Skliar, Tetiana P.; Скляр, Тетяна Петрівна; Molodetskyi, Hennadii H.; Молодецький, Геннадій ГеннадійовичУ сучасних умовах глобалізації та інтеграції України до міжнародних економічних структур одним із ключових інструментів для покращення ефективності експортно-імпортних операцій є e-invoicing. Впровадження цього інструменту відповідно до європейського стандарту EN 16931 здатне значно підвищити прозорість та ефективність фінансово-економічних операцій, зменшити адміністративні витрати та спростити міжнародну торгівлю. Метою дослідження є теоретичне обґрунтування доцільності впровадження e-invoicing відповідно до стандарту EN 16931 в експортно-імпортну діяльність суб’єктів господарювання державного сектора економіки України. Для досягнення цієї мети авторами вирішено низку ключових завдань, серед яких: розкриття сутності й основних характеристик e-invoicing як цифрового інструменту, порівняння впровадження e-invoicing у країнах ЄС, виявлення основних тенденцій та моделей його реалізації, а також визначення переваг і викликів, які можуть виникнути у процесі впровадження цього інструменту в Україні. Під час дослідження визначено ключові аспекти впровадження системи e-invoicing в експортно-імпортну діяльність України, зокрема в контексті інтеграції до європейських стандартів, таких як EN 16931. Встановлено, що e-invoicing є потужним інструментом цифровізації, який забезпечує підвищення прозорості фінансових операцій, скорочення адміністративних витрат, спрощення митних процедур і полегшення інтеграції в європейський економічний простір. У дослідженні проведено порівняльний аналіз впровадження e-invoicing у країнах ЄС, виявлено основні тенденції, моделі реалізації та вплив цього інструменту на експортно-імпортну діяльність, що дозволяє визначити найкращі практики для України. Результатом дослідження є теоретичне обґрунтування доцільності впровадження e-invoicing у експортно-імпортну діяльність України з урахуванням європейського досвіду, а також виявлення переваг і викликів, які супроводжують цей процес. Зокрема, визначено, що інтеграція e-invoicing дозволить Україні досягти більшої ефективності у зовнішній торгівлі, покращити співпрацю з європейськими контрагентами, а також знизити ризики, пов’язані з помилками та шахрайством у фінансових операціях. This sector is considered as a strategic field in terms of strengthening national economies, creating new economic opportunities and strengthening international solidarity. Tourism is not only a field of economic activity, but also the promotion of integration between civilizations. In recent decades, the tourism sector has been recognized as a strategic sector in the world economy and has increased its specific share in GDP. The increase in international tourist flows is not limited to the inflow of foreign currency, but also leads to positive changes in the foreign trade balance. Moreover, the indirect economic effects generated by tourism - for example, increased consumption of local products and services - contribute to the increase in overall economic well-being. An econometric analysis using a multiple regression model was conducted to assess the impact of the tourism sector on the economic development indicators of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The adequacy of the model was evaluated using the coefficient of determination. As a result, a strong approximation was observed between tourism revenue, employed population and GDP. To verify the model’s adequacy, Fisher’s F-statistic and the t-statistic were applied, and both tests confirmed that the parameters of the multiple regression model are statistically significant. Based on the results of the CUSUM test, the stability of the model’s parameters was confirmed. The equal variance of the residuals indicates homoskedasticity, which is one of the essential assumptions for the validity of the residuals. As a result of these processes, countries around the world have recognized the development of the tourism sector as a priority and have implemented various strategies to strengthen the role of this sector in the economy. In Azerbaijan, against the backdrop of these global trends, special attention has been paid to the development of tourism, and there has been a need to deeply investigate its economic impacts.Item Features of Green Banking Development in Sustainable Economy for Ukraine’s Reconstruction(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Слобода, Лариса Ярославівна; Дунас, Наталія Володимирівна; Мисько, Нестор ВасильовичThe article substantiates the necessity to mobilize internal investment resources by channeling bank capital into the restoration of green financing and the development of sustainable green projects in Ukraine. The characteristics of financial instruments that contribute to the development of the green economy and can be implemented in green banking models are disclosed. Based on the analysis of the historical retrospective of the formation and activity of international organizations in the field of green financing, the perspective directions of the regulation of green banking in Ukraine are outlined, in particular, an assessment of the monetary and financial policy of the central banks of the leading countries of the world with regard to its impact on green investment is carried out. Further, an assessment of the current state of implementation of green financing projects by leading banks of Ukraine is carried out, which made it possible to determine the level of their orientation to the regulation of ESG risks and to identify the prospects of mobilizing private capital to invest in the green national growth. Taking into account the characteristics of the indicators of social and environmental corporate responsibility of Ukrainian banking, recommendations have been developed on the activation of banks' participation in green banking projects. This article can help regulators related to the achievement of ESG projects by using the sharing economy and green energy financing.Item Formation of the Mechanism of Communication Management(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Мирута, Наталія Миколаївна; Жовнір, Володимир АполлінарійовичThe article defines the concept of «mechanism of communication management» and considers the approach to its formation. It is found that its formation is influenced by the type of leader, the corporate culture present in the organization and, therefore, the management style and form of management of the organization and communications. On the basis of the studies, the authors propose a scheme of the sequence of formation of the mechanism of communication management depending on the form of management: centralized or decentralized. The proposed scheme contains stages common to both forms of communication management, such as: defining the mission and strategic and operational goals of the organization, defining the objective of communication management, defining the functions of communication management, determining the composition of the subject of management – the necessary divisions to achieve the goal of communication management, empowering them, establishing a hierarchy between divisions, determining the form of communication management, as well as the stages of forming a communication management mechanism in various forms: in the centralized form – distribution of responsibility for the implementation of functions between divisions, establishing responsibilities and relationships between divisions, stimulating the staff; in the decentralized form – delegation of authority by the subject to the object of communication management, distribution of roles in the team-object of communication management, stimulation of staff, regulation of communication processes. In accordance with the forms of management, methodological support for the formation of the management mechanism is developed. It is proved that the mechanism of communication management in both centralized and decentralized forms differs in the following characteristics: conditions for the development and implementation of a managerial decision, principles of building a communication management mechanism, methods of staff management, indicators of staff stimulation, elements of the communication process, including the content of the message, senders of the message, receivers of the message, communication channels and means of information transmission. Using a blend of quantitative data and qualitative insights, the article details the significant disruptions in energy markets, which have led to soaring oil and gas prices and exacerbated inflationary pressures globally. It also examines the critical blockade of Ukrainian agricultural exports, which has heightened food security concerns, especially in developing countries. Moreover, the article explores the broader implications for international trade and investment. It discusses how the fragmentation of global supply chains has forced businesses to reevaluate their reliance on single-source suppliers, resulting in a reconfiguration of production networks. The war has also highlighted vulnerabilities in global financial systems, with increased market volatility and heightened risk aversion among investors. In addressing these challenges, the article emphasizes the importance of coordinated policy responses and international cooperation. It underscores the need for diplomatic efforts to restore stability and mitigate the adverse economic effects of the conflict. The object of the research is a complex socioeconomic phenomenon of strategizing and the process of its implementation; the subject is theoretical provisions, conceptions, methodology of enterprise strategizing and their application in the conditions of the experience economy. The following main methods were used in the research process: system approach, method of structural-logical analysis, theoretical generalization, scientific abstraction, concretization and comparative analysis, historical and logical analysis, process approach, theoretical generalization. The article presents the modern features of the internal environment and the external environment of enterprises, which determine the development of the concept of strategizing and the process of its implementation. The main stages of development of strategic management of enterprises with identification of strategizing have been proposed. In chronological order, the definition of the concept of strategizing and its stages and components from its origin to the present (2023) in the scientific works of foreign and domestic scholars is examined and systematized, taking into account the latest trends in changes in economic relations and the feasibility of using in the model of the experience economy. On the basis of generalization of the proposals of scholars and the existing economic realities, an understanding of the concept of strategizing enterprises as the main way of strategic thinking about the future of enterprise is proposed, the main components and stages of the process of its course include the definition of the mission, vision, goals of the enterprise’s life, analysis of factors of the internal and external environment in accordance with the set goals, determination of the strategic instruments (system of strategies) of the enterprise’s life, substantiation of criteria for the selection of strategies, which in the conditions of the experience economy are aimed at highlighting the attractiveness of the enterprise, the strength and value of its brand and the level of reputation, making decisions on the final composition of the set of strategies, forecasting the trajectories of the enterprise in accordance with the adopted strategies and taking into account possible scenarios of the course of events, the implementation of organizational and communication foresightings, the implementation of adopted strategies in accordance with the approved strategic plan of the enterprise.Item Identification of Risks, Sustainability and Problems of Fuel Security of Ukraine and the Countries of the European Area (Matrix Approach)(Науково-дослідний центр індустріальних проблем розвитку НАН України, 2024) Хаустова, Вікторія Євгенівна; Губарєва, Ірина Олегівна; Салашенко, Тетяна Ігорівна; Костенко, Дмитро МиколайовичToday, Ukraine has a critically low level of fuel security, which is associated with a drop in oil production, a decline in oil refining and limited opportunities to import oil and motor fuel. The aim of the study is to develop a methodical approach to assessing the fuel security of Ukraine and the countries of the European space, which involves the calculation of local indicators of fuel security by components and levels. It is proposed to assess the fuel security of Ukraine and European countries according to four security components: accessibility, availability, acceptability, affordability. A methodical approach to identifying problems in ensuring fuel security is proposed, which, unlike the existing ones, is based on a system of matrices for positioning Ukraine and the countries of the European space in the plane of coordinates: «Accessibility of crude hydrocarbons for indigenous production, in particular year – Accessibility of crude hydrocarbons for oil refining»; «Availability of crude hydrocarbons for oil refining – Availability of motor fuel for final consumption»; «Acceptability of crude oil as a feedstock for refining – Acceptability of motor fuel in oil refining feedstock»; «Affordability of crude hydrocarbons imports – Affordability of motor fuel imports». The analysis of the components and levels of fuel security of Ukraine and the countries of the European space made it possible to determine that the highest level of fuel security in 2021 had the following countries: Norway, Great Britain, Lithuania, Spain; the lowest level of fuel security had Montenegro, Slovenia, Latvia, Estonia. In 2021, Ukraine ranked 24th among 29 European countries in terms of fuel security that was 35%. The decrease in the level of fuel security of Ukraine was influenced by: the destruction of production facilities as result of russian military aggression, a reduction in production, and limited opportunities to import crude hydrocarbons. The key problems in ensuring Ukraine’s fuel security include: low level of accessibility of crude hydrocarbons for indigenous production and crude hydrocarbons for oil refining; low availability of crude hydrocarbons for oil refining and low availability of motor fuel for final consumption. To ensure fuel security, Ukraine needs to increase the production of crude hydrocarbons, increase the volume of oil refining for final consumption, and develop the production of synthetic motor fuel from coal.
